DTA

A wise man once told me DTA, I asked what that meant and he said, "Don't Trust Anybody", I have found those words to be true. I believe anyone that actually has a job will understand that, especially if you work in a office environment.

3 in a row

3 posts in a day would be good for me, but look at this, 3 post in less than half an hour. I just wanted everyone to know that I have changed my email address for comments or any other thing you may want to say to me. I plan on naming names and want it to be hard for people to find out who is writing about them. Don't worry, if you don't know the people I am talking about, I will start writing about big time celebrities. I do know a few, come on you can believe me.

My Blog

I haven't been updating this site has much as I was or as much as I want to. I'm going to try and make up for that. If this is your first time to the website, please be sure and read back on some of the archives. Even now when I look back at some of the past things I had to say, -- guess what,---they still make sense. So I, Mr. Blog guy do hereby swear that I will keep updating this blog until it makes me rich and I can leave this so-called job with the state that I have. Come on people let's all work together to make me rich. I have found out how hard it would be for all of us to get rich off of this blog so let's work together and make the author happy. I for one think he deserves it.

Weight Update

Ok Friday was the big weekly weigh-in and yours truly lost 5 more lbs. for a grand total of 12 so far. I'm very excited about the weight loss and plan to keep working hard on it. The lady at work, who is in charge of our support group is very upbeat and sends out very positive and reassuring emails during the week. I've noticed if I just pay attention to what I eat and cut back a little, it means all the difference.

Now last night was a different story, it was my father-in-laws birthday. We went to his house for cake and ice cream and then he announced that he was taking us all to a Mexican restaurant. Let me tell you about this restaurant, it's not just any Mexican restaurant, they have a buffet. Do you know how hard it is to try and stay on a diet when you go to a Mexican buffet? Well, it's very hard, luckily I hadn't had too much to eat before we went out to his house. So now it's Monday and time to get rid of the extra food I had over the weekend. There looks to be a lot of walking in my future.

Weigh IN

OK, tomorrow is the next weigh-in for my diet. I think I've done pretty good this week, it's the weekends that kill me. I've got to get out of the house and just go, somewhere, anywhere. When I just sit around I get bored and when I'm bored, I eat.

I've been walking a lot more this past week and have even starting walking stairs with some other people. The stairs we walk up are in a building right next to mine. We walk up 8 stories. It may not sound like much but GOD my legs were killing me the next 3 days after the first time. Now they don't hurt but it still wears ya out going up and then back down those stairs. I am sooo tempted to take the elevator back down. Going down is a little easier but it's still not pleasant when it's after you have already gone up 8 stories.

What is up?

I really don't know what is up with the boss lady. One day she is actually nice and civil towards me and then the next day, she is back to evil boss lady. I keep looking for another job, as a matter of fact there is one I need to apply for today, here at UT.

I joined a weight loss support group here at work. After the first week I have lost 7 lbs. It was pretty easy for me, since I weighed so much to begin with. I will keep this blog updated with my weight loss. That way, I will have to keep on losing the weight. I wish I had someone who would actually give me like a dollar for every pound that I lose.

Coaching

I haven't written anything for a while, so I just had a thought. Here in UT territory, people worship the ground that Phil Fulmer walks on. But have you ever noticed that when it is time for all the good coaches to start being named in connection with other jobs, whether it be college or pro, that Fulmer is never mentioned? I'm sure Auburn, Georgia, and Florida people are happy that we just keep giving Fulmer longer and longer extensions. The same could be said for the other U of T,(Texas), they just gave their head coach a 10 year extension, even though they haven't played for a national championship over the past 10 years and they CANNOT beat the University of Oklahoma. What is it that the rest of the world knows about Phil Fulmer and Mack Brown that the people of Tennessee and Texas don't know??
