Football Time

I haven't been able to post for a few days because I've been very busy at work and I cannot get on the PC at home. My kids are addicted to a game called runescape. They take turns and stay on the computer until it's time to go to bed. Well enough of that, let's talk football. The big story here at Tennessee is the resignation of Randy Sanders. He will be stepping down as offensive coordinator, but will remain the quarterbacks coach. I think a change needs to be made at the top. Why is it that everytime UT wins, everyone says what a great coaching job Fulmer did, and when they lose, they say that Sanders did a bad coaching job. Isn't Fulmer the big kahuna? Apparently he is the big kahuna only when we win.

One more college football note, Notre Dame gave their coach, Charlie Weis, a 10-year extension after coaching ND for 7 games and a 5 and 2 record. Three years ago, Ty Willingham won his first 8 games to start the year and they believed he was the savior of Notre Dame. Mr. Willingham was fired after only 3 seasons at Notre Dame. Why wasn't Ty given a 10-year extension when he started his Notre Dame coaching career winning the first 8 games of the year and bringing a great deal of excitement to the program. I'll tell ya why,: Ty Willingham is black and Charlie Weis is white.

Gotta go, big bad boss lady is lurking.
